LISTDELTA NOTES

A useful difference.

Two lists, one counted comparison and clear assumptions.

One practical text calculation

Listdelta compares the occurrence counts of two entered line-separated lists. It helps when duplicate quantities matter, such as reconciling typed component lists, checking a repeated-item tally or studying finite bag differences. It also reports distinct keys so repeated occurrences do not get confused with different item names.

You choose what normalization is allowed. The tool does not infer meaning, identify real people, parse a data schema, verify inventory or perform an ordered document diff. A text match is only a match under the displayed options.

Free and local

The comparison runs in your browser without an account or remote calculation service. The complete guide explains the arithmetic, limitations and examples. Text and CSV reports are generated on demand.

This prepared release has no active advertising, analytics or consent-management loader. Publisher verification metadata and ads.txt are included for possible later advertising preparation; neither establishes Google approval, ad serving or income. Any later host or advertising configuration must have matching privacy and consent information.

Corrections and maintenance

Source checks cover independent occurrence matching, normalization, line limits, empty comparisons, current exports, pagination and delayed clipboard outcomes. Browser and device review remain separate from these source checks. If you find a reproducible issue, contact us with a short nonsensitive example and your selected options.

The public forwarding alias is shared with other free tools. It is not a newly created Listdelta mailbox. Read the guide and sources or return to the comparison calculator.
